CLOSE Ultrasound Ultrasound is a diagnostic exam utilizing painless, high frequency sound waves to obtain pictures of the internal structures of your body. No radiation is necessary. CLOSE CT (Computerized Tomography) CT is an X-Ray technique that uses a special scanner and computer to create cross sectional images of parts of your body (somewhat like slices of bread). CT’s can reveal anatomical details of internal organs that may not be seen in conventional X-Rays.
